This is the theme for the PTA Reflections.
I am not supposed to give a description of what this drawing means, but rather let the judges interpret.

This painting DOES have a specific meaning to me but I am going to let you guys decide on your own meaning :D

I hope it looks okay. My scanner really didn't like the glowing effect with the butterfly, so it is a bit butchered ^^;

The hands are from my own stock of photos and the butterfly is from my imagination XD

Materials: copic airbrush, pencil, colored pencil, copics, acrylics, pen

I entered that at my school, I didn't do too well, I got 2nd. :/ But then again, my entry sucked you-know-what because my teacher chose it. -_-

I don't think the butterfly is messed up at all, in fact I like this a lot. The butterfly is a symbol of peace. Almost as if one could just fly away even if they were in the hands of others. The contrast between the butterfly and the background along with the hands made this simply beautiful.
