I have a thing for rams because I'm an Aries. I don't know why, but I do (and I don't even believe in astro signs....I think it's because I love the symbolism....anyway). Who doesn't love those big round horns either!?! I also love how your color scheme is different in this one. You still have that small splash of neon color with the pink and slightly purple, but this has a lot less "in your face" brightness. It is refreshing to see (even though I LOVE all of your work and the bright rainbowness of it all). The only off-setting parts I can see is his background back leg - it seems to be missing or he's standing on it with his other back foot - and his background horn. It almost looks like he has one round one and one straight one. o.O Overall, I love it!
Thank you so much for the lovely comment! I really did have fun with the colors on this one...it's always fun to work with a different palette. The horns are actually personal to the commissioner (so good catch, they are meant to be different shapes). The commissioner wanted one male horn and one female horn....I'm not sure the story behind that, but I'm sure it carries personal meaning! Anyway, thanks again for the comment! I always love getting longer more thought aout ones!
I'm glad you had fun. That's what matters! Oh, that's cool! It would be interesting to know the meaning/story behind having both horns... You're welcome. I try to make my comments more meaningful but sometimes I can't think of anything more. That's why I end up favoriting so much. lol. XD
no problem, but i love your art work in general every time i see something new of yours i put it in my favorites. i think its because i wish i could work with water color like this.... i only use colored pens or pencils but mostly pens so im kind of dull in my mind
Aww well thank you again It's just practice! I started out just using pencils and things, and then I branched out It's best to get comfortable in one medium before going completely crazy with all sorts of things!
