So, I am so sorry for the inactivity this past week. I've actually been getting commissions done, but have been far too busy to post anything to dA. I'll change that today

What is this madness?
I mean, holy crap! We are in freefall for 1 minute. That line hanging out the backpack is called a drogue (nope, not the parachute). It's to slow down our speed so we don't accelerate too fast. Right now we're going a nice leisurely 120 mph.
About to go through the clouds....Johan is waving off in signal that he is about to release the canopy.
There we go, safely landed after a 5 minute canopy ride.
Anyway, I went skydiving yesterday! 
It was just about the greatest experience ever. I don't think I could ever hope to describe how incredible it was. It is just something you have to try for yourself sometime.

SO GREAT! I just want to go again. I've been looking into possibly taking the AFF (American Free Fall) course and working towards my A license. If anyone has experience with this, I would love a comment!

Sorry friends for the world’s longest hiatus from deviantART! I have been posting constantly on Instagram, Facebook, and even *gasp* TikTok, but I have missed you all here so so much
A Little Update
Woowzers it has been a long time since I've updated my dA journal! As you've probably noticed, I've mostly been AWOL from deviantART other than daily posts which are pre-scheduled for the most part. I apologize for not getting to read notes or respond to comments like I use to. First and foremost, thank you all so so much for the overwhelming support and love. I don't think 2020 is going the way any of us ever would have predicted, and it is truly because of the support of the community that I am able to continue making art to share with you all. Thank you to everyone who has been able to buy a print, order a commission, and/or leave a comment or like. It doesn't go unnoticed, and I truly appreciate it! Since convention season doesn't exist this year, Tyler and I have been working very hard to make constant updates to the store, our Patreon pin of the month club, and content that is available to you all. Until 2 days ago, I had been traveling with three close friends in Peru to gain reference photos and inspiration for new work. This was before COVID-19 was declared a Worldwide Pandemic and when we left there were only 5 cases in our state and only 6 reported cases in Peru. While abroad, we visited Machu Picchu, enjoyed the local culture, and overall had a wonderful trip until the effects of the global pandemic were very suddenly and stressfully made apparent. On the evening of March 15th, two days before our intended departure, the Peruvian government declared an immediate closure of its borders for 15 days. The four of us each had work and families that were waiting for us back home in the states and now we were facing a minimum of 15 days until we would be rejoined with them. Unpredictably facing two weeks in a foreign nation where you speak very little of the language, with no apparent way home and no secure place to stay is a really scary, stressful situation.
