Ordering
Ordering a commission is simple
Just Follow these steps:
1) Read over my Commission page. Make sure you understand my policies, prices, ect.
2) Be sure that my commissions are open. This can be found with my Art Status information
3) Send me a note with what you have in mind (be as detailed as necessary), and I will get back to you as soon as I can with a price quote


Paying For a Commission

Payment? How does that work?
I prefer to use paypal.  Even if you do not have an account, you can still use a debit card/credit card with Paypal. It is fast, easy, and safe.
I do not require payment in advance unless it is a pricey order.  For orders over $50, I require a partial downpayment so that I know you are serious about the commission and being able to pay.  Once I finish the item, I will post it on deviantART Stash with a watermark and ask for the payment.  Once I recieve payment, I will send the commissioner a clean, unwatermarked version of the work and ship the original.  Failure to pay will result in your item not being shipped, and a possible auction/resale of your item.

What is Paypal?
Paypal is a safe, fast, and user friendly site for making online payments.  You do not need to sign up for an account to make a payment through paypal.  It is the site that Ebay, Etsy, and many other online stores use for their checkout process.

I don't have a card...I can't use Paypal.
If you are younger, and don't have your own debit or credit card, then perhaps ask your parents before making a purchase.  They might be able to help you, and make a purchase for you.  Always ask your parents' permission before making an online purchase!

Do you accept payment plans?
Unless the order is unusually pricey, I do not accept payment plans.  Be sure that you are capable of paying for a commission before it is ordered.

Why do you not do point Commissions?
Art is how I make the majority of my money.  I can't make a real income off of points.  

Cancellation Policy

If an item is cancelled, it will not be finished or posted.  If you have already paid a downpayment for an order over $50, you will not be issued a refund.  Please, please, please do not order something that you think will need to be cancelled.  
Cancelled items that have been started will most likely be tweaked into other pieces, personal projects, or used in some other way.

Other Common Questions and Concerns
How long will my piece take?
I honestly can't tell you that. I am a student right now and am very busy. I try to get each piece done in a timely fashion but sometimes that can be hard. I often work out of order, take breaks to clear my mind, and sometimes have artist blocks.
If you have a deadline you need something done by please let me know when placing a commission; however I can not 100% guarantee any deadline with my busy schedule.  Ask me when ordering a commission how long my commission list is.

Why don't you have a "To-Do" List posted? I want to see where I am on your list!
I don't like posting "To-Do" Lists publicly because I find them to be a violation of privacy for those who have purchased commissions.  Sometimes commissioners wish to remain anonymous or don't want others to know how much they are paying for something.  I have a private "To-Do" list on my computer. If you have commissioned something, and wish to know where you are on my "To-Do" list, feel free to send me a note.

Your stuff seems pricey! Why is it so expensive?
Every now and again I get a comment like this, and I want to facepalm into my computer.  I do art for a living.  It's how I make money.  My prices are considerably lower than the standard for the illustration/tattoo/conceptual art industries by HUNDREDS of dollars.  To make my art worth my time, I need to ensure that I am making at least $12/hr for my work.  With all the hours it takes to create my work, negotiate with clients, advertise, and respond to emails my prices have to stay where they are if it is going to be worth my time.

Please Note: I retain the right to use commissioned pieces on my website or anywhere else I see fit. I still retain the right to sell prints of commissioned work. Commissioned pieces are still copyrighted to me.  You may use a commissioned piece for anything personal in which you will not receive a monetary gain (i.e. tattoos, personal blogs, websites, desktops, ect.). If you are looking to use my work for commercial purposes you must have my consent first. You do not have the right to claim that you are the original creator of a commissioned piece. You may resell my original work, but you MAY NOT sell copies, prints, or other merchandise.
